David Kezur, LCSW

David Kezur, LCSW, has been teaching at a variety of levels in the Ackerman training program since 1991. He taught systemic therapy and supervised in Hong Kong in 1998 and 2000 and is presently responsible for providing training in systemic therapy in a program at the Japanese Association of Clinical Counseling in Tokyo, Japan.

A former member of the Infertility and Couples Research Project, Mr. Kezur co-authored Couples Therapy for Infertility, and several articles on this topic published in Family Process. He is the author of The Development of Maternal Attachment, Smith College Studies in Social Work, June 1978. He has presented at the Family Therapy Networker conference, as well as the AAMFT and AFTA conferences. Mr. Kezur was a participant in the Letter Writing Project, at Ackerman, an investigation into the use of writing as a means of expanding therapeutic conversations.

Currently, Mr. Kezur is interested in the intersection of Buddhist psychology and systemic therapy. In addition to teaching, he maintains a private practice in New York City.
