Carola Suárez-Orozco is Professor of Applied Psychology at New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, where she co-directs Immigration Studies. Among her many works, she is the co-author (with Marcelo Suárez-Orozco) of Children of Immigration and co-editor of The New Immigration: An Interdisciplinary Reader. She is the recipient of the American Psychological Association Presidential Citation for her pioneering work on the cultural psychology of immigration.
