Ackerman staff are not able to respond to your technical inquiry.
Ackerman workshops are not recorded. Due to federal HIPAA regulations, unauthorized recording of clinical material is not permitted.
Ackerman Institute trainings are intended for qualified mental health professionals only, unless otherwise noted. Eligible attendees must be trained in mental health, and currently employed in the field of social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology, or another mental health profession. If you have questions about your eligibility to attend an Ackerman training, please contact: communitytraining@ackerman.org.

Mental health practitioners who hold LCSW, LMSW, or LMFT or psychologist licensure in New York State are eligible to earn Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEUs). Please check with your license provider to confirm eligibility.
You must attend the full duration of a training to be eligible for CE contact hours. Registrants will complete an evaluation form at the conclusion of the training to verify attendance. Certificates are delivered by email within 14 business days.
Participants must attend the full duration of a workshop to be eligible for full CE Contact Hours. As proof of attendance, trainees must complete an evaluation form at the conclusion of the training. Per the NY State of Education, we do not provide credit for partial attendance.
Eligible participants will receive CE Contact Hours via email within 14 business days. Certificates of completion are distributed by email only. To ensure prompt delivery, please add communitytraining@ackerman.org to your email contact list.

There is a fee associated with trainee participation in workshops. Tuition discounts are only available to alumni of Ackerman’s clinical externship.
