Research Coordinator, Gender & Family Project
Nat Roberts, (they/them) is a Research Coordinator at the Ackerman Institute’s Gender & Family Project. Nat is currently a Master’s of Education student in the Counseling Psychology program at Teachers College of Columbia University. After completing their B.A. in English Literature, Nat spent four years working as a community organizer before returning to academia. Their research spans a variety of topics within the field of counseling psychology, gender studies, and psycholinguistics.
In addition to their work as Research Coordinator, Nat has also served as a youth group facilitator for GFP, and is a long-time supporter of the project. Nat dreams of a world where trans and gender non-conforming folks can live safely and authentically. Their hobbies include skateboarding, computer programming, and breaking the gender binary.
