Upcoming Parenting Adult Children

When our children become adults, it isn’t always clear when we should raise an issue with them or bite our tongue.  We sometimes clash over expectations, values, or lifestyle decisions.  If this is something you, or someone you know, is experiencing, then we invite you to the next parent workshop series addressing these issues.  Ackerman Institute’s Center for the Developing Child and Family is delighted to announce a new four-session workshop series entitled “Parenting Adult Children,” to begin February 25 and continue on alternate Tuesday afternoons through April 8. We will be exploring common themes as we shift roles from parenting kids to parenting adults, and participants will come away with a broader and deeper understanding of the issues that arise as well as various means of addressing these issues.

Dates / Time:

Tuesday, February 25; Tuesdays, March 11, 25; Tuesday, April 8, 2025
12:30 pm–2:00 pm
