Expired Parenting Stress, Struggles and Strategies for Change

Join us for Ackerman’s free webinar series for parents and caregivers. Created by family therapy experts, these webinars are designed to help parents and caregivers to support their child’s mental health across a diverse range of subjects. Webinars are free to attend and will be held online via Zoom.

Program Description:

Stress has a significant impact on parenting behavior and child well-being. Currently, we have an epidemic of stress, anxiety and depression. Resilience is built on successful experiences managing stress and overcoming adversity. With growing confidence, parents increase their feelings of resilience which furthers their process of personal transformation – changes in relationships, self-awareness, attitudes, and purpose.
Attend the workshop and learn about a few parenting strategies that will help your child thrive at home and at school: coping skills, social-emotional learning and self-regulation. There will be time for questions and answers to make the session relevant and practical.
