Development and Marketing Coordinator
Crystal brings valuable experience from her previous role as Development Coordinator at LearningSpring School, a NYC-based K-8 school for children on the autism spectrum, where she excelled in managing fundraising events, donor outreach, database efficiency with Raiser’s Edge, and impactful media campaigns. She has also managed annual appeal efforts and created persuasive digital, creative, and social media content to enhance donor engagement.
A Hunter College graduate with a BA in Journalism, Crystal combines her storytelling expertise with a passion for advocating mental health and social justice issues. Originally from the Bronx and now residing in Brooklyn, she is eager to advance Ackerman’s mission of empowering families and mental health professionals.
In her free time, Crystal enjoys painting, visiting art galleries, boxing, and spending time with her family and her dog, Charlie.
