ADMISSIONS POLICIES

REGISTRATION DEPOSIT
Accepted applicants are required to pay an initial tuition deposit of $1000.00 to secure their seat in the program. The registration deposit is non-refundable.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The full balance of tuition is due by August 1st. We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. By submitting this form, trainees certify that they have read and agree to the Ackerman financial policies.
MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN OPTION
The Ackerman Institute offers the option to enroll in a 10-month interest-free payment plan. Total tuition will be divided equally into 10 monthly installments, and is an annual $100.00 non-refundable fee to enroll. Payments and enrollment agreements must be completed by the posted date.
REFUND POLICY
Ackerman Institute Core Curriculum trainings are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Full refunds are issued only if a training is canceled by the Ackerman Institute. For partial refund, withdrawal requests must be submitted to the Admissions Office no later than July 31st.
ABOUT TUITION FEES
The Ackerman Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on donors and earned revenue to work toward our mission. The full expense of training an Ackerman therapist is subsidized by the generosity of our donors. Your tuition fees cover only a small portion of this expense. UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEMENT
Submission of this form obligates you to pay tuition and fees for all courses for which you are registered at the beginning of the academic session. Financial responsibility, payment plan information, and our refund policy
are posted on our website.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The full cost of tuition is due within 5 business days of acceptance. If acceptance is after September 30, 2024, the full cost of tuition is due by October 04, 2024.

FINANCIAL AID
Financial aid is not available for the couple therapy certificate program.
